Product description:
3m acrylic foam tape 4229P has two binders, one attached to both sides of 0.76 mm acrylic foam substrate, used on automotive surfaces, such as transparent coatings, with robustness and shear strength. The side adhesive of substrate is developed for high initial and final adhesion hard transparent coating system. Non-substrate side adhesive is suitable for plastics and other ordinary decorative materials.

Product applications and features:
Dark gray 0.76 mm acrylic foam substrate provides stress relaxation under load.
There are two different binders-one on both sides of the tape to bond effectively.
The base material side adhesive is specially designed to combine with the rigid transparent coating system.
The non-substrate side is designed for adhesion enhancers for automotive decorative materials.
It has good compatibility and good resistance to plasticizers.
