Huawei ’s Q1 global 5G smartphone shipments reached 8 million units, with a market share of 33.2%, ranking second. Most of Huawei's 5G smartphones are shipped in China, and China is the leader in the smartphone market. Huawei's best-selling 5G smartphones are Huawei Mate 30, Honor V30 Pro and Mate 30 Pro. Vivo's global 5G smartphone shipments reached 2.9 million units, with a market share of 12%, ranking third. Xiaomi's global 5G smartphone shipments reached 2.5 million units, with a market share of 10.4%, ranking fourth. OPPO's global 5G smartphone shipments reached 1.2 million units, with a market share of 5%, ranking fifth. In response, Neil Mawston, Executive Director of Strategy Analytics, said: Although China closed most of the market during the Covid-19 epidemic, Chinese manufacturers accounted for 61% of the top five 5G smartphone manufacturers in Q1 2020, most of which Flowed to the Chinese market.
